At 2234 hrs. Station 4 was dispatched for a report of a television on fire inside the residence. Police arrived on scene and reported heavy smoke with a room and contents fire. Chief 4 arrived on scene establishing command and requested Engine 2 to the scene. Ladder 4 arrived on scene and advanced the initial attack line and knocked down the fire in the bedroom. Engine 2 crews ventilated the roof due to extension to the attic from the main level. Rescue 4 ventilated and searched the residence. Second alarm companies arrived on scene and assisted with extinguishing the remaining extension and extensive overhaul on the 1st floor and attic. All units cleared in three hours.
