Spring Storms once again caused the Abingtons to become busy with calls on Thursday night. While Station 2 was operating on a Fire Alarm in the township, a structure box was hit for Stoney Creek Road in South Abington for the house struck by lightning. Ladder 4 and Rescue 4 were on the assignment. Rescue 4 arrived first and checked the structure with Engine 2. The Ladder 4 crew staged outside the building per Command 2. Crews reported no fire and command was terminated. Crews also responded to numerous trees and wires down calls throughout the evening.
