Station 4 and Station 5 (Dalton) were dispatched to Whitetail Run Road in Waverly for the house struck by lightening. Chief 5A arrived on scene and reported a light smoke condition in the residence with no visible fire. Engine 4 arrived and checked the interior of the house with the Thermal Imaging Camera, finding a small fire behind the washing machine that was extinguished prior to arrival.  Ladder 5 checked the exterior of the structure along with the rest of the interior with their TIC and found no fire. With no extension or smoke crews cleared in approx one hour.
